With a career spanning over 15 years within the private, government and defence sectors, Ben commenced in the construction industry as a carpenter for one of Australia’s largest privately owned development companies.
The first decade of his career saw him apply his trade skills within the commercial and light industrial building industry, moving in 2015 to join an established Perth builder specialising in both residential and commercial projects. Here, Ben advanced from commercial leading hand to site manager, whilst obtaining his builders registration and learning invaluable lessons in the process.
Ben transitioned to PCB Group in 2021, having met fellow directors Sheldon and Beau on a key Defence infrastructure project, the project later acknowledged by the industry by winning a Master Builders Excellence in Construction Award.
Now joined at Moombaki PCB by his long-time friend Jimi James Lovegrove, Ben is dedicated to supporting Moombaki PCB forge new opportunities for Indigenous engagement in WA’s construction industry, leading the way by example.
Ben prides himself on developing strong relationships with clients and subcontractors, his extensive understanding of construction – and focus on the cultivation of teamwork, safety and accountability – is essential to achieving this.
Having helped deliver more than $2 billion in critical infrastructure projects for some of Australia’s largest mining and construction companies, as well as the Australian Government, Beau is one of WA’s leading project management and project engineering professionals.
He has successfully overseen key projects including FMG’s Christmas Creek Construction Village and Cloudbreak extension, Woodside’s Pluto Central Control Room and Gatehouse, Chevron’s Gorgon Construction Village, the HMAS Stirling redevelopment, and Manus Island’s Regional Processing Centre.
In his more than 20 years in the construction industry, he has held positions with Decmil, Lendlease, Chevron, Doric Contractors and Monadelphous, at times providing expert guidance to teams in excess of 400 people.
Born in Port Hedland, Beau has worked with Indigenous mob from all over Australia and Papua New Guinea and is proud to be helping lead the PCB Group as it creates fresh construction industry employment opportunities – including apprenticeships – that further empower Indigenous communities.
Also a registered builder, he brings an enviable degree of expertise in value engineering, cost management, construction planning, resource management, and building and contractor management to all PCB Group projects.
As PCB Group Managing Director, Sheldon Brady is proudly building on the legacy built by his parents Peter & Cheryl, who founded pioneering Perth asbestos removal & demolition company PCB Holdings in 1994.
Having worked alongside his father from early in his career – and managing the family enterprise from 2008 – Sheldon officially took over the reins of the company in 2017. Since then, he has expertly overseen the business’ transition and expansion into the multi-faceted PCB Group.
Growing up in the mining hub of Kalgoorlie, Sheldon’s journey from humble beginnings to success in sprint car racing and bodybuilding has instilled in him the values of hard work, discipline, dedication, and excellence. These principles guide Sheldon in bringing a strong work ethic and commitment to quality to every project and business interaction at PCB Group.
He believes listening is the key to strong client and employee relationships, and is committed to his – and his team’s – personal and professional growth.
Sheldon is enthusiastic about driving PCB Group’s ongoing development, motivated to further its already sizeable contribution to West Australia’s critical construction sector.
